Gold Temple, taipei

When life gives you stairs, climb them to enlightenment. Or at least to a really nice view.

After leaving the whimsical installation at Ruifang Bus Station, I continued my journey and found myself at the entrance of a serene stone pathway. The steps, worn and moss-covered, seemed to whisper tales of countless pilgrims who had walked this path before me. The Torii gate at the top stood like a sentinel, guarding the secrets of the past. The stone lanterns flanking the steps added a touch of ancient charm, their inscriptions barely visible through the layers of time.

As I climbed the steps, I couldn't help but feel a sense of reverence. It's funny how a few stones and a bit of moss can make you feel like you're on a spiritual journey. The greenery around me was lush and vibrant, a stark contrast to the urban chaos I'd left behind. The misty hills in the background added a touch of mystique, making me wonder what lay beyond the Torii gate.

The air was thick with history and the scent of damp earth, a reminder that nature always finds a way to reclaim its space. It's moments like these that make you realize the beauty of simple things, like a stone path leading to a gate. Who needs fancy landmarks when you have this?

As I reached the top, I paused to take in the view. The Torii gate, partially shrouded in mist, looked like a portal to another world. I couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of what Hello Kitty would make of this. Would she see it as a grand entrance to her next adventure, or just another photo op? Either way, I felt a sense of accomplishment, as if I'd unlocked a new level in the game of life.

With a renewed sense of curiosity, I continued my journey, eager to see what other hidden gems Ruifang District had in store. After all, in the grand tapestry of life, every step counts, and every path leads somewhere. Even if that somewhere is just a really nice view.
