Tamsui (淡水) is full of hidden gems that often go unnoticed by the bustling crowds. Today, I found myself wandering through one such gem—a narrow alley flanked by lush greenery. The trees overhead formed a natural tunnel that seemed to welcome me into a world far removed from the urban chaos. On my left was an unassuming blue-shuttered building; on my right, a concrete wall adorned with vines. At the end of this serene path stood a red car, quietly parked as if guarding this tranquil sanctuary. The overcast sky cast a gentle light that only added to the calm atmosphere. It's in these quiet moments that one can truly appreciate the simple beauty that Tamsui has to offer.
