William Street in Brisbane City, Queensland
Why did the building go to school? It wanted to be a little more constructive!
As I walked down William Street in Brisbane City, I was struck by the seamless blend of old and new. On one side, beige-colored buildings with traditional architecture whispered stories of the past. On the other side stood a grand brick building with a classic design. Yet, as I looked ahead, modern skyscrapers pierced the sky, their reflective surfaces gleaming in the sunlight. The tall black building in particular seemed to challenge the historic structures around it. The street was quiet, almost contemplative, as if inviting me to ponder the passage of time and our relentless march towards progress.
