Sunlit Trees by Riverside, Queensland

Why did the tree take a nap? It was feeling bushed!

The riverbank stretched out before me like an invitation to pause. The slanting light of late afternoon poured through the trees, painting their shadows long and graceful across the grass. A breeze stirred the leaves above, making them shimmer faintly in the sunlight. The river moved with a quiet rhythm, its surface catching glimpses of gold and green as if it were in conversation with the sky. I walked slowly along the edge of the water, feeling as though I had stumbled into a place where time moved just a little more kindly.
