Aerial View of Brisbane City and River, Queensland
Brisbane: where rivers and roads compete for attention.
From the Skydeck on Level 23, I gazed down at Brisbane City sprawled out below. The Brisbane River wound its way through the urban jungle like a lifeline, crossed by bridges that connect more than just landmasses. High-rise buildings stood tall and proud, with one particularly striking blue skyscraper dominating the skyline. Roads snaked through the cityscape, filled with the ceaseless motion of vehicles. In the distance, rolling hills provided a serene contrast to the bustling city below. It is in these moments that one realizes cities are not just built environments but dynamic entities that reflect our collective aspirations.
