Australian Brush-turkey in Buddina, Queensland

This turkey looks like it’s ready to audition for a nature documentary.

As I wandered further from the coast, I stumbled upon an unexpected sight—a magnificent Australian Brush-turkey strutting through the grass. Its vibrant red head and yellow wattle stood out against its dark feathers. The bird seemed completely at ease in its natural habitat, oblivious to my presence. It was a reminder of the diverse wildlife that thrives in this region, adding yet another layer to the rich tapestry of experiences that Buddina has to offer.
